How should you use this source snapshot?

Treat this as a current-season starting point tied to the source update shown above. Verify balance-sensitive numbers in game after any newer patch, and compare the supplied variants before copying one loadout wholesale.

What does this source build cover?

This is a smooth way to level up a Viking in S10. Combined from Graxy's guides and my own experience leveling.

This build is focused around using Viking's powerful 'arcane caster' setup to have a smooth leveling experience. While leveling with Whirlwind is fun, you have to manage upgrading weapons frequently. By using Charge into Odin's Fury we will be able to avoid having to deal with annoying weapon swaps and will have smooth sailing all the way to 100.

1-7: Seismic Slam (You could start Charge but I found this very mana heavy at low levels, get Energy!) 8-24: Charge 25-100: Odin's Fury

This build should easily carry you to 100 and allow you to either continue along playing Odin's Fury or farm up for gear for Whirlwind or other attack skills.

Which skill priorities does the source give?

We start off using Seismic Slam for the first 7 levels mostly because it feels the best. At level 8 we unlock Devastating Charge and can swap to Charge as our main skill. This passive doesn't seem like much at first but will cause a massive damage increase and cause a shockwave to pulse out whenever your charge ends that does a lot of damage. We will level this way until level 24. At this point we unlock Odin's Fury and can start shouting enemies to death.

How does the source recommend playing it?

Levels 1 - 7 Seismic Slam felt better to me, it has a decent area and isn't too mana hungry. If you want to play Charge instead just a few points in Energy early.

Charge does it's damage in a circle around you and will stun enemies it hits so don't be afraid to jump into the middle of a pack to spread the damage out more and stun more enemies. Enemies will eventually not be stunned and you may want to run away for a moment or two for them to become stunnable again.

Charge is also really great for moving through zones, press "M" on the keyboard to switch your map to an overlay. This will help you navigate easier instead of bumping into things.
