Hero Siege Orb of Frost Farming and Bossing Jötunn Build - Season 9

1 DPS button w/ teleport farm build. Swap on the fly to BIG ST DMG boss build!

Easy inferno all-rounder starter build with potential to deal massive damage in the end game when high hero level and gear acquired with maximum mana + gain cold/skill damage based on maximum mana and become very tanky by converting max mana into health.

When you reach hero level 38 obtain extra projectiles nodes for a massive power spike early on!

Check out Breath of Ice speed farm build variant for FPS friendly gameplay! Requires expensive Grand Arch Wizard's Mantle armour. Has insane clear speed with high HP, Mana, Mana taken instead of damage, and Mana leech!

Don't forget to put in your specialization points in each skill in each skill loadout!

For Orb of Frost (Speed farming build) I only use "Orb of Frost" for damage and "Portal of Ice" for mobility.

For Frozen Boulder bossing build (Final build) cast "Frozen Hide" buff > pre-cast "Blizzard" before boss spawns > "Freezing Leap" for elemental break > spam "Frozen Boulder" preferably on or near objects that have collision for massive bounce damage.

These two builds uses the same gear setup. You can swap quickly between Skill loadouts with hotkeys. You can change the key binding in ESC > Options > Controls. I change mine to Ctrl + 1 to Ctrl +4.

*Mana stack end game skill tree is same as speed farming build*

Speed farm and bossing (final build) gear load out is the same

It is very important to cap -enemy cold resistance to 100. Items that can do this easily are Tundra Hunger's Long Coat Armor, Shield of the Abyss, Signet of Harbringer ring, Cold Giant's Charm, Eye of Skadi charm, and Level 10 Orb of Ice relic.

Don't forget it is very easy to star level Ymir's Frozen Tear amulet and Crown of the North helmet with destiny shards as they are an only an S rank item.

For chest augments if you get into Angelic realm with Bifrost key and you get offered one of the following get it: Monstrosity, Nordic Winter, Infinity, or Elementalist (only use this one on Grand Arch Wizard's Mantle armor). Otherwise use 5 Angelic keys, select show all and choose what you want. I prefer Monstrosity but Nordic Winter or Infinity is also very strong.

If you can get Grand Arch Wizard's Mantle w/ Sur runes in every socket it is a huge DPS boost and requires a separate incarnation tree and supporting items like Book of Cold Death weapon w/ Sur runes + Manahungerers gloves + Stone of Premonition ring + Tablet of Awakening 4 sockets.

Aimbot.exe charm is not needed but is a very nice quality of life feature of not having to aim with your cursor for Orb of Frost so you can focus on your movement. Downside is when using Frozen Boulder bossing build you can't manually aim towards structures to bounce and deal more damage.

Demonfire Accelerators gloves speeds up your projectiles to help clear faster and works really well with Felps ring.

The Downfall of Felps ring is also very hit or miss for people. I prefer it for bossing but for farming I do not use it since it doesn't work with aimbot.exe charm.

If you completed the extra charm slot quest, you can insert another 2x2 charm (You can have 4 total if you don't have Soul Collector charm). If you don't have Water Melon you can use one of the following: Bag of Unknown Riches / Traveller's Map Journal / Beetle of Life.

Q: Low resistances? A: Craft rune word "Aurora's Might" weapon for your mercenary. Don't forget to use "Portal of Ice" often as it gives you a short buff to all resistance. If you are still really low use 5 incarnation points to obtain the Big node "Lower Power" to the bottom left of the middle starting point to cap your all resistance to 50% but obtain 60% all resistance, this is very strong early on.

Q: Low max health? A: Reset your attributes and go 100/150 Vitality and rest into Intelligence. Get Hardened Steel Defender, Anubis' Ankh charm, Beetle of life charm, and level 10 Cheese burger relic.

Q: You have too much -enemy cold resistance? A: Swap out your shield for Defender's Justice and become nearly unkillable.

Q: You have too much damage and want some magic find? A: Swap out some pieces for magic find gear. You can swap your rings for Dragon's Blessing + Rakhul's Ritual Band. Mysterious Monkey Paw for Graxy Mom Lure.
