How many classes does Hero Siege have?
Sources disagree, and each is frozen at a different DLC release. The Fandom wiki lists 19, wiki.gg states 21 while listing 22, and Steam adds Bard and Prophet on top — so 'at least 24' is the honest floor. No source consulted separates base-game from DLC classes, so treat any single total with suspicion.
Which Hero Siege classes are free?
Amazon, Paladin, Samurai, Shaman, Demonspawn and Demon Slayer became free in Season 9, when the developer moved away from locking playable content behind DLC. Guides written before Season 9 still describe them as paid, which is the most common piece of outdated advice about this game.
What is the current Hero Siege season?
Season 10, Ebontharn, released 21 August 2026 on Steam, PS5 and Android simultaneously. Community wikis carry placeholder pages for Season 11 and beyond, so a link to a later season is not evidence that it shipped. Steam describes roughly four-month seasonal cycles.
How do you unlock Hell difficulty in Hero Siege?
Kill six specific bosses: Gurag, Reaper, Anubis, Damien, King Karp and Satan. They each also drop a Book of Soulforge page, so running that questline during your Hell push costs almost nothing extra.
Is a Tier 4 dungeon key better than Tier 1?
No — the numbering runs backwards from intuition. Tier 1 is the rarest and Tier 4 the most common. Difficulty matters far more than tier anyway: a dungeon chest pays 400-1,000 rubies on Normal and Nightmare but a guaranteed 8,000-12,000 on Hell, so do not spend any key below Hell.
What does magic find actually do in Hero Siege?
It raises the chance that a drop is superior or better — it increases how many good items fall, not how good any single drop is. Chasing one specific rare item, magic find helps less than it feels like it should. It also only pays once you can already clear your farming zone quickly.
Why do runewords need a plain white item?
Because the recipe requires a Common base — white or gray, non-magical — with exactly the socket count it names and a matching item type. A better-looking magic item is not a better base, it is an invalid one. You can add sockets with 2x Hel Runes and 1 P Gem, but only once per item.
Where are Hero Siege save files stored?
On Windows, in %localappdata%\hero_siege — one .pas file per character slot plus shop.ini for values shared across characters. Back them up by copying the folder before you reinstall or verify files. Editing them risks a ban: the developer runs its own anti-cheat.
Why is Steam Family Share disabled for Hero Siege?
The developer disabled it because cheaters used it to bypass bans. Players who previously played that way may need to re-link their PAS account to their own Steam account, through the official Discord's ticketing system.
Is Hero Siege on mobile the same game?
Largely yes. Season 10 launched on Android the same day as Steam and PS5, so mobile is on the same seasonal cycle rather than trailing it. Its store listing still says 8 Acts, which predates Act 9 — store listings lag content updates, so read that as a floor.
