• Comments — When giscus comments are enabled, giscus.app loads an embedded GitHub view. Viewing it exposes your IP address and browser information to that service; GitHub handles sign-in under its own privacy policy.
• Embedded videos — Pages with videos load thumbnail images from i.ytimg.com and load the YouTube player from youtube-nocookie.com only after you press play. No YouTube cookies are set before that interaction.
