For broader mechanics and progression context, read the Exo class guide before choosing a source build snapshot.

How should you use this source snapshot?

This is clearly labeled historical-season material. Use it to understand the documented route, mechanics and equipment relationships, then verify every balance-sensitive number and recommendation against the current game before investing resources.

What does this source build cover?

Spin to win, zoom to move, run into every obstacle, kill everything. Fun times :)

Just a quick layout of what a Fire Exo can look like. This is NOT extensive, and not at all covering every little variety of budget and Incarnation tree variation.

This is probably NOT the optimal setup, I am not a mathemagician. Visit the Discord Exo Class section and they can help you out further. However, if you have the budget for a Stofflix and the gear, this is a place to start. I'm not even certain about the sub-points or the skill point distribution here, but there was no Fire Exo guide here so I made one :)

If another Fire Exo guide does show up on this site with more notes... look at that as well.

Welcome, and good luck :)

Which skill priorities does the source give?

Not entirely certain. Get to 100, fill it up :I

How does the source recommend playing it?

Learn how to Solar Dash. One click on Dash while aiming, cancel with spacebar(jump), re-aim, Solar Dash, repeat repeat. Keep holding Scorching Whip on right click and keep it going. Zoom Zoom.

What does the source FAQ clarify?

Q: What's the most important this and that? A: Stofflix, [+all skills] and Hero/Incarnation Levels.

Q: How to dual wield Stofflix? A: Hercules Grip on the Incarnation Tree. High... ish, priority. One will do you good until Incarnation 80 at least.

Q: What should I? A: Go to the Official Discord: Exo Section and ask there. They will know more than me.

Q: Is this the ideal set up? A: Probably not, but it's been serving me pretty well.

Q: What best? A: Overloaded Dice, probably. Soul Collector and Fire Melon. Stofflix.

Q: What order on the Incarnation Tree? A: Master's Intellect, Mana Infused Hour Glass, Burning Touch, Agile Wizard, Wizard's Wrath, Ant Crusher, Short Orbit. Then start in on the Int Stacking(with int-to-damage amulet) and then keep asking somewhere else :)

Q: What gems? A: Chaos Gems, Angelic Gems, jewels with all-res/fire%/spell%.... I think. I went with Angelic/Chaos/resistance runes. Remember, an item can only take one angelic gem, and pristine sockets do not add the 50% bonus to Angelic Gems. They don't stack.

Q: What do about resistances? A: I focused on high all-res rolls on the cheaper first charms, then went for High Roller's Crown with high all-res. Put resistance runes wherever you need to. It's an issue to consider.

Q: Where does the damage come from? A: Whiplash does a LOT, afaik. Hence why +all skills is great, it doesn't scale with +fire skill levels since it's [passive] and lacks the [fire] tag.

Q: Leveling? A: I leveled with fire, went into cold, bought a lot of fire gear and went back to fire. I don't know how to do progression on this, I just bought it all. Sorry.

Q: Chaoswalkers Boots? A: The boots give %damage on enemies afflicted with an ailment. This season (9) it's PER ailment, i.e you can stack them, making the boots extremely good. This is not intended and will be fixed in the next season, I've been told.
