Tablet of Armada is the boss key associated with Captain Grimtide. The official Season 10 announcement confirms Grimtide as one of Ebontharn’s three new Uber Bosses, while the Hero Siege Helper key record connects that encounter specifically to Tablet of Armada.

It is a key, not equipment for a build. Do not compare its empty-looking item record with weapon or charm stats; its value is access to the encounter and the Grimtide loot table.

How can you get Tablet of Armada?

Farm on Inferno and prioritize Ancient, Legion and Fallen monsters in zones or dungeons. That is the current source description in Hero Siege Helper’s public key data. It does not limit the eligible pool to Shipwreck Cove, so a Tablet found elsewhere is still consistent with the available evidence.

A recent player answer about Captain Grimtide recommends farming Shipwreck Cove. Treat that as a practical route rather than proof of an exclusive zone: it keeps the farm close to the dungeon where the Tablet is used, but the broader helper record names Inferno monster types instead of one map.

How do you use Tablet of Armada?

Take the Tablet to Skull Cave in Shipwreck Cove, zone 9-2. The helper’s boss-key record gives the route as Shipwreck Cove → Skull Cave and notes that no separate key is needed to use the Tablet. Its zone database lists Skull Cave and the deeper Secret Chamber as the relevant dungeon route.

1. Reach Act 9, Ebontharn after clearing the Act 8 gate.
2. Enter Shipwreck Cove (9-2).
3. Find Skull Cave and carry Tablet of Armada through the dungeon route.
4. Follow the current in-game boss-access prompt for Captain Grimtide.

Public sources do not agree clearly enough on whether the interaction is outside the dungeon or at its end. The player discussion describes the key near the dungeon workflow, while the search result wording says to take it through the dungeon. Do you need a Treasure Key as well?

Do not assume the normal Skull Cave entry and the Grimtide summon are the same interaction. Hero Siege Helper’s zone page calls Skull Cave a Treasure Key dungeon, but its separate Captain Grimtide record says no extra key is required to use Tablet of Armada. Follow the live prompt rather than spending a second key pre-emptively.
